Happy New Year! Enjoy this last TMI Tuesday of the year 2019.
What’s new?
In 2019 did you
1. Get a new job?
I got a new volunteer job if that counts.
2. Get a new haircut?
Yeah, I've grown my hair out because Husband decided that he likes it long.
3. Get a new car?
No, but I did pay my car off.
4. Move?
I wish. But no, we will be in this place at least another year.
5. Get a new romantic partner?
I dated a couple new girls who didn't work out, unfortunately.
6. Have a kid?
Thankfully, no.
7. Take up a new hobby?
I've been trying to find the time to learn to crochet. I think with some practice, I could be good at it.
In 2020, will you?
1. Get a new job?
Probably not. Hopefully, I will get rid of some of my volunteer responsibilities.
2. Get a new car?
I really hope I don't have to.
3. Take a risk?
I don't like taking risks. They are scary.
Bonus: What will be important to you in 2020, that wasn’t important in 2019?
Time for myself. This is my resolution for 2020. I have filled all of my free time with volunteer work so that I could feel like I have a purpose. In doing that, I lost myself and had a mental breakdown. I have learned that having time for myself is important and it's okay to say no when I'm overwhelmed. It's going to be hard but I'm going to really try to make myself a priority.
